Texas United FC welcomes Xavier University defender Dominik Kurija for this season

Texas United FC is excited to welcome Xavier University defender Dominik Kurija for the 2023 season.

Originally from Munich, Germany, Dominik attended Klenze in Munich. Dominik played in Germany with FC Unterföhring II and Wolfratshausen. He then moved to the United States to attend Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. In his sophomore season with the Apache, Dominik made 17 starts and 20 appearances, totalling 1 assist.

Dominik then took his talents to Xavier University and the Big East. Dominik joined the Musketeer’s Men’s Soccer team in 2022 and started in eight of 14 games. The Musketeers finished third in the conference, behind Georgetown and Seton Hall. This past season, Dominik picked up four assists for Xavier. He recorded a career high when he assisted two goals against Villanova in October. Dominik’s two assists spurred the team to a 2-1
victory.
