Texas United FC is excited to welcome Tulsa University forward Malik Henry-Scott for the 2023 season.
Malik played club soccer for FC Dallas Academy. He scored 25 goals in his career and helped FC Dallas claim the 2020 MAST Championship and 2016 Dallas Cup
Championship.
Malik went on to attend Tulsa University in 2020. He has started in 37 of 41 games played. In that time, he has 13 goals and six assists. As a freshman, he started in 11 of 12 games and was named in the American all-rookie team.
Sophomore year, Henry started in 10 of 13 games. He was named to The American all-conference second team and was selected as the AAC Offensive Player of
the Week on Sept. 6. Malik scored 7 goals, including 3 game winners for TU.
This past season, Henry started in all 16 games. He had six goals and two assists. He was also named to the 2020-21 and 2021-22 American Athletic Conference
All-Academic Team and was tabbed to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District first team as a junior.
