Texas United has signed Frisco High School Forward: Shane Anderson for the 2023

Texas United is excited to announce the signing of Oral Roberts University forward Shane Anderson for the 2023 season.

Shane is from neighboring Frisco, Texas where he played High School soccer for Frisco High School. In his final season in 2019, Shane was named First Team All-District and Made First Team All-State. He scored 12 goals and logged eight assists in 22 games at Frisco High School. He also played for FC Dallas’ academy where he scored 31 goals in 43 games.

After his youth football, Shane decided to commit to Oral Roberts for the shortened 2020 season. In his freshman season, Shane managed to log an assist in just 164 minutes of action for the golden eagles. In his next full season in 2022, Shane played 703 minutes, scoring 6 and assisting 9 goals. He was 2nd team All Conference, Led Summit League in Points, and Ranked 9th Nationally in Assists through Regular Season.
