Texas United is excited to announce the signing of Notre Dame Midfielder, Bryce Boneau
Fighting Irish central-midfielder, Bryce Boneau, has signed with Texas United for the 2023 season.
Bryce is from Keller, Texas where he attended Keller High School. In High School, he was selected team captain in his senior year. Boneau had that year scored 18 goals and 19 assists in 21 matches, and helped lead Keller High School to the Conference 6A Region 1 tournament semifinals, a record for the Keller boys’ soccer program. Keller finished the season with a 17–3–0 record. Boneau was named First Team All-State and was the Dallas Morning News Offensive Player of the Year. At the end of the season, Boneau won the Gatorade National Boys’ Soccer Player of the Year award.
Bryce played his club career first for Solar FC and then FC Dallas’ U19 ECNL team. Boneau played with Solar FC in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy where his team won the U17 DA National Championships. For FC Dallas, he registered three goals and seven assists through 13 matches with FC Dallas U19.
At the University of Notre Dame, Bryce missed his freshman year due to injury.
However, as a sophomore he started all 17 matches as a midfielder during his second season for the fighting Irish. He recorded three assists on the season, two coming in a win at Michigan State and one in a win at UIC. He will be an important contributor to Head Coach Dave Jacobs’ midfield this season.
